Welcome

in case you can't tell from my resume, I love buildings. While My instagram may suggest I'm obsessed with all things outdoorsy (and I am), I also have an affinity for architecture and urban environments. There's just something about the feel of an aged downtown no matter the size of a city, you know?

I was raised in the Bluegrass State, Educated in the Mountains of east tennessee, gained journalism experience near the hill of our nation's capital and discovered my passion for architectural criticism in the rust belt of Upstate New york. A.k.A. I recently completed my master's in arts journalism at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.

I now freelance For Architizer in New York City where I write about architecture, building-products and construction processes. I'm currently seeking full-time opportunities in design media or any publication where I can write about New York News as it pertains to city development, local politics, urbanism and real estate.

In my writing, as much as I could, I tried to find the good, and praise it.
